Relix Magazine, one of the most respected music publications around, name Turkuaz the #2 Band not to miss at CMJ! In case you don't know, CMJ stands for College Media Journal, and the CMJ Marathon is kind of like the South By South West of New York. Which band was #1? Why, Soul Rebels Brass Band, the band we opened for in Philly last night! We're super honored and can't wait for our CMJ show this Saturday at Sullivan Hall at 11:30pm!

The videos you've just watched means that Turkuaz's Kickstarter campaign to raise $15,000 in 30 days has officially begun! Kickstarter is a great website that helps creative enterprises raise money organically by offering rewards to their supporters for different levels of contribution. The catch is that if we don't raise at least the $15,000 we've set out to raise in the next 30 days, we don't get ANY of the money that was pledged to us. So we certainly have our work cut out for us! Time To Get Wormy!

After some great shows in Burlington VT, South Kingstown RI, Hartford CT (shout out to the Sander sons!) Washington DC and Herndon VA, we're super pumped to play Wormtown Music Fest tomorrow (9/15) in Greenfield, MA! We can't wait to return to our fellow Worms. We play the big cabin at 11pm.
